Festival tourism is a form of tourism which has shown a great development in recent years, which provides positive economic, social and cultural advantages and has become an important part of the countries tourism strategies. The aim of this study which is prepared with the consideration of the previous studies is to reveal the effects of festival on the destination in terms of socio-economic dimensions. The study is a pilot survey and applied on 57 visitors who participated in Alacati Herb Festival. Quantitative method is used and participants are contacted online through a questionnaire about Alacati Herb Festival by random sampling. The data is analyzed by the statistical program. In this context, as a result of factor analysis, three dimensions were found and named as social benefit, socio-economic benefit and social cost. In consideration of analyzes, socio-economic benefit is the most important dimension according to participants. As a conclusion, Alacati Herb Festival has effects on Alacati in terms of socio-economic dimensions and the festival is quite important for Alacati.
