Description
The NeuroCOLT Working Group was funded for a period of three and half years by the European Commission todevelop a fundamental understanding of learning and of when and how it can be implemented algorithmically. Particular classes of adaptive systems studied include neural networks with discrete and continuous activations'. There were three Work Areas highlighted, The Foundations of Learning investigating fundamental concepts, Algorithmics of Learning looking at the algorithmic issues, and Neural Networks and Continuous Complexity Theory examining the structure and analysis tools for various types of concept classes.
