Second International Workshop on Link Analysis and Group Detection

LinkKDD Workshop is focussed on an increasingly important area of Link Analysis and Group Detection. Many related aspects have been addressed in research conducted over the past twenty years in Discrete Mathematics through graph theory, in Social Sciences through social network analysis, and Computer Science, in studies of graphs as data structures. Recently these techniques and methods have attracted a wider attention for their applicability in law enforcement for crime watch, in fraud detection to protect insurance and banking services, in WWW analysis to facilitate search and on-line marketing, in telecommunications for traffic and connectivity optimization, and related areas.
